What we collect

Account details (email, display name), your learning preferences, and the study content you create: chats with the tutor, notes, classes, study sets and plans. If you use voice input we process the audio to produce a transcript; if you share your screen, a snapshot is only sent when you tap “Look”.

How we use it

To run the tutor, keep your work in sync across devices, personalise explanations to your learning style and support needs, and to measure product usage in aggregate. We do not sell personal data and we do not use your study content for advertising.

AI processing

Messages you send to the tutor are processed by third-party model providers through our AI gateway solely to generate the response. Providers are not permitted to use this content to train their models.

Students under 16

Study Exam is intended for students aged 13 and up. Where local law requires it (including GDPR-K and COPPA), a parent or guardian must consent before an account is used. We ask for a birth year at sign-up for this reason and collect no more information than needed.

Retention and deletion

Your content is kept until you delete it or close your account. From your profile you can export everything as JSON or permanently delete your account and all associated data.
